A candidate with a current DFSRH, NDFSRH, MFSRH or FFSRH may proceed directly to the LoC SDI. Those accessing the LoC training programme without first obtaining a diploma must obtain an eKA pass before starting training. Trainees are advised to read the information sheet about the eKA before proceeding to take the eKA.
DFSRH information on LoCSDIAll training has to be completed through a FSRH recognised General Training Programme (GTP). Our TP reference is TP1014.
Model arm training is included in the Course of 5 or we can provide this component of the training for you.
We can travel to your surgery or clinic in the North West of England to provide training for you to achieve LoC SDI. This has the advantage that you can work in your own environment and we can advise on equipment and running an implant service. For details of the number of insertions and removals required please click here
Clinicians who are already fitting and removing Subdermal implants can organise a refresher session with one of us. This may be just an update for you or for Recertification of LoC SDI to obtain 1 CPD point for Peer Observation.
